North County Communities
Where else can you find a city that has dedicated 40% of its land as open space? With nearly 7 miles of coastline, hiking trails, and lagoons, there is no wonder that people love to live in Carlsbad. Like Encinitas to its south, Carlsbad has no shortage of outdoor activities and sports. In fact, Carlsbad is the Triathlete capital of the world. You will be hard pressed to find a city that is more health conscious than Carlsbad. Make no mistake though; it’s not just a place for play. Carlsbad is also the epicenter of the extreme sports and golf industries. Top-notch companies such as Callaway and Taylor Made for golf, and about 70% of the world’s Surf and Skate companies are headquartered here. La Costa Greens is surrounded by natural preserve, which provides a serene backdrop and contrast for its Tuscan and Spanish inspired architecture. Most of the homes are landscaped with California native, drought tolerant plants and trees.
